The Danish pro Jesper Hougaard beat 7,176 other player to take down the latest edition of the Sunday Million on PokerStars. It was his second title in the biggest weekly tournament online, worth $206,834 after a three way deal in the end.

Last year Jesper Hougaard became the first player to win a bracelet at both the WSOP and the WSOP Europe, both times in a 1.5k NL Hold'em tournament. His total cashes from live tournaments are $1 million.

As has often been the case lately, the tournament had some overlay as 7,177 players was not enough to meet the guaranteed $1.5 million, so Pokerstars had to dig into their own pockets and pay the remaining $64,600. The $750k Guaranteed on Full Tilt Poker was likewise slightly overlaid.
