Online phenomenon Joel "Odonkor1" Nordqvist is the latest addition to the Team Victory Poker. Odonkor1 will join the likes of Brian "tsarrast" Rast, Antonio Esfandiari, Andrew Robl and David "The Maven" Chicotsky in the Victory Poker's team of pro's.
"I'm truly excited to sign such an online superstar and look forward to his performance at this year’s WSOP,” stated CEO Dan Fleyshman. “We’ll also be keeping an eye on him in nosebleed high-stakes games online."
Nordqvist broke onto the poker scene in 2008, placing 28th in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Season Five no-limit hold’em main event in Barcelona. In 2009, he was nominated for “Best Online Poker Player” at the PokerStars’ Scandinavian Poker Awards. He made news in April when he swept several nose-bleed tables and raked in more than $850,000 in one week, becoming one of the top online poker winners.
Nordqvist is a no-limit hold’em specialist and has a reputation as a solid player with self control. He’s also well-regarded among high stakes regulars. Being from Sweden, “Odonkor1’s” identity has sometimes been mistaken for “Isildur1.”
I predict that Victory Poker will be a flop.

I have a feeling that it will be good... If it can avoid the security issues of UB then I think its perfect timing to start up a new venutre... Would be good to see if Andrew and Antonio would drop to 5/10 and try presuade action to come along...

I know no thing is for sure. Victory Poker's logo is ridiculous and looks very cheap. If my first impression was based on that. I would not download their software. First impressions are the most important and I feel this site will never do huge volume. It will stay a float. It will never do the numbers that tilt or stars are doinng. GL to them.
tilt and stars have been going on for years. compare their numbers right now to Victorys in 7 years and i bet their twice as high
