The online pro Justin "Boosted J" Smith just turned 21 and is eligible to play at his first World Series this year. He seems to fancy his chances, as he has published a challenge of his own via BluffMagazine.com. Boosted J is willing to take $5,000 bets at even money that he will collect more WSOP Player of the Year points than any player that the bettor chooses, as long as the chosen player doesn't yet have a WSOP bracelet.
“I want the challenge and I also like money,” Smith jokes. He plays a lot of mixed cash games online and says that this will give him an edge in the bet.
Smith is also offering another prop bet to anyone who wishes to take him on: he says that his team of Justin Bonomo, Brett Richey and himself will win more bracelets than any other team of three who have yet to win a bracelet.
Although Smith likes his chances in both bets, he says there might be a way to gain an edge on him. He plans to play as many tournaments as he can, but if the cash games are too juicy, he may not have time for the tournaments. "If it’s just way too good and insane, I won’t pass it up,” he says referring to the cash game action.
