Surprisingly, PartyPoker have signed Kara Scott as the newest member of their pro team; "surprisingly" because it is pretty astonishing that somebody hasn't signed the popular and attractive poker show host a long time ago.

The new co-host of High Stakes Poker has appeared in various poker shows as well as hosting the live broadcasts at the PokerStars EPT tour. She can also be heard regularly in the On the Rail podcast.

Originally from Canada, Scott has lived in Britain since 1999. Currently she shares the same address with poker pro Brian Townsend. She has merits at the felt, too, finishing 2nd at Irish Open and becoming only the second woman ever to cash twice at the WSOP Main Event in 2009. Her total cashes are $557,902.

Scott will represent PartyPoker at live tournaments and start her own blog on blog.partypoker.com.
