The big games in Macau are over for now, as the regulars have left town for a while to care of other businesses. It appears that both Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan finished the game as winners.

As was reported earlier, Dwan played a huge heads up session over the weekend where he won 68 million HKD (8.8 million USD) from a Chinese player, and it is mentioned that his good run continued and he was a winner in the overall results also. Matt Savage mentions on a post on 2+2 that the games finished with a 48-hour marathon session with 2 to 6 players at the table at any one time.

Some of the regulars in Macau have left town and the games are not expected to resume in at least a week but the FTP pros won't probably be there anymore. Ivey has already flown home with his winnings while Dwan is expected to take a few days off in Asia before returning to the US.

Savage mentions that Dwan has agreed to do an interview about the games in Macau and his view on the forum posting on 2+2. "He was somewhat surprised at the tone of a lot of the posts on the forum," Savage says. We will hear more about it soon.
