WPT winner Mark "newhizzle" Newhouse beat 8,357 opponents to take down the PokerStars Sunday Million event on Sunday for $245,897.

After a long four-way final battle, Newhouse took out his last three opponents in rapid fashion. He got lucky against DeuceBuster when his KJ rivered a pair to beat his opponent's A8; then Raindrops_69 was set to double up when he flopped an ace with A2 to Newhouse's K5, but "newhizzle" made runner-runner flush to his 5 of spades. Heads up lasted just one hand and this time Newhouse got the chips in good with JJ against rockyone123's AT, and the board ran safe to give him the win.

Newhouse won the WPT Borgata Poker Open in 2006 for $1.52 million. He's known as a Limit Hold'em specialist online.

PokerStars pro Hevad Khan made the final table but had to settle for 8th place and $18k. Amit "AMAK316" Makhija also made a deep run but busted out before the final 9.
