Provided the info given on PokerRoad's videoblog is correct, Patrik Antonius had an excellent start to the WSOP despite going out relatively early at the $50k Players' Championship. It looks like the Finnish superstar was the biggest earner in the event thanks to staking both of the Mizrachi brothers.

The subject comes up in a fresh update of the Blogfessional videoblog on PokerRoad. According to Eugene Todd, Antonius had a 50% piece of both Mizrachis who finished in 1st and 5th place respectively for a total of 1.9 million dollars - so Antonius made a whopping $950,000 on a $50,000 investment.

The video lasts for about 10 mins, the subject of Antonius comes up after 7 and a half minutes.
