October was another successful month for Patrik Antonius, who was the biggest winner on Full Tilt Poker with a profit of more than $2 million. Patrik comments on the recent games to Coinflip.com, saying he's especially pleased that the mixed $2k/$4k 7-Game has been running regularly on the site. He also sends out an invitation to his old friend, the WSOP Mixed Game Champion Ville Wahlbeck to join the tables.


"Mixed games are the coolest, it's like the Bobby's Room where the game changes all the time," Patrik says to Coinflip.com.

"Players are tired of grinding long sessions in the same game, so the 7-game brings a welcome change."

7-game includes all the HORSE games (Hold'em, Omaha 8, Razz, Stud, and Stud 8) played as fixed limit, plus NL Hold'em and PLO.

"It's important to know all the games well," Patrik states. At top level you can't afford to have any weak games in the mix. Players who are proficient in all variations of poker are the most respected among their peers. Patrik himself says the best all-round player is Phil Ivey.

"It's also important to be good at all the games if you want to make money," Patrik remarks. "If you master just one game and crush all your opponents, soon you won't get a game anymore."

"Hopefully the tournament maestro Ville Wahlbeck also joins the tables now that we are playing his strongest games," Patrik says in the end.

Patrik and Phil Ivey ($1.74 million) were the only players to make a seven figure profit in October. Of the Coinflip pros, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies had a nice month with a $305k profit despite playing relatively little.

Ilari has also played the 7-game, but he says to Coinflip.com, "I don't really understand all the games that well, but that's OK. Neither do the other players, except Patrik and Ivey."

Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro is nowhere to be seen on the Top 50 list of winners and losers. He says he's been taking a small break and played at other sites for a change, but he'll be back on Full Tilt Poker.

"I have played some sessions at the 7-game but my favorite games are NL and PLO," he says.
