Phil Hellmuth was recently quoted as saying that it's impossible for Phil Ivey to catch him in five years as the player who has won the most WSOP bracelets. Hellmuth has a record number of bracelets, 11, while Ivey won his 8th piece of poker jewellery this summer at the WSOP. Naturally, Ivey doesn't agree.

"I don't like the word impossible," Ivey says on the PartyPoker Poker Show and predicts that it's anything but impossible to catch Hellmuth in the bracelet race, even if his chances are not more than 5:1 or 6:1 to do it in five years.

Interestingly, all of Hellmuth's 11 bracelets have been won in Texas Hold'em while Ivey has won all of his 8 bracelets in non-hold'em games where the fields are much smaller but also much tougher.
