Saturday night's highlight at the Rio was Phil Ivey's masterful performance at the final table of $2.5k Omaha/Stud Hi-Lo. Ivey dominated a very tough final table and became the second double winner in this year's series, taking down his seventh WSOP bracelet.

Ivey won a very decisive pot and crippled his heads up opponent Ming Lee when the game was Omaha: Lee raised preflop, call. Flop Jd 9s 4s, Ivey bet, Lee raised, call. Turn 8c and Ivey check-called another bet by Lee. River 4d, Ivey checked again, Lee bet, Ivey raised, and after awhile Lee made the call. Ivey turned over A4J8s and scooped the pot with a full house. A few hands later Lee was all-in with his last chips in Stud. Ivey had a hidden pair of Queens and stayed in front the whole way, and that was that. I

vey made $220,358 in prize money, but undoubtedly he made another big bundle in various side bets. He becomes the sixth player in WSOP history to win at least seven bracelets. 376 high low experts joined the tournament, other players in the final table were Carlos Mortensen, Dutch Boyd and Jon "Pearljammer" Turner.
