PokerStars is going for another Guinness world record attempt on December 27th, the first Sunday after Christmas. They aim to break their own record for the largest online poker tournament in the world, set last July when 65,000 players from 155 countries gathered in one virtual place at the same time to make online history.


The tournament on December 27th starts at 2.45pm ET (8.45pm CET) with the buy-in set at 1 dollar. PokerStars will guarantee a $300,000 total prize pool with at least $50,000 going to the winner. 30,000 people will make the money.
