Season six of High Stakes Poker is slowly approaching and the names of the participants in the upcoming shoot are starting to come out. Earlier Phil Hellmuth said he will be playing, and now last year's WSOP Main Event third place finisher Dennis Phillips (pictured)revealed in his radio show that he has also been invited.

It sounds somewhat surprising at first, but it turns out that PokerStars is the new sponsor of the show so there will probably be more of their Pro players taking part. Last year they included Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Joe Hachem, Dario Minieri and Peter Eastgate.

AJ Benza's replacement as the new co-host is still a secret, but according to Pokerati.com, PokerStar's involvement will fuel the rumors that it might be Vanessa Rousso.
