In April the North American Poker Tour is heading to Connecticut for the NAPT Mohegan Sun. The series will run from 5-15 April and include a $5000 Main Event and a $10,000 Bounty Shootout.

Last stop of the NAPT Season 2 takes place in Connecticut, the U.S., at the Mohegan Sun Casino. The venue will run from 5-15 April and finish off with a $5000 Main Event.

The exact schedule for the series this year has just been revealed by PokerStars, and the event will among others include a $10,000 buy-in Bounty Shootout - a tournament conquered by Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier last year.

Both the Main Event and The Bounty Shootout will be filmed by 441 Productions and broadcast on ESPN2 in May and December 2011.

Ray Pineault, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Mohegan Sun is delighted to host an NAPT event again this year.

"We are thrilled to once again be hosting the North American Poker Tour here at Mohegan Sun. Last year’s inaugural event was such a huge success and we anticipate this year’s event will bring out even more big names from within the poker community," Pineault said in a press release this week.

Last year the Main Event saw 716 enrollers. American Vanessa Selbst triumphed at that time, securing herself $750,000 for the victory.
