Overlay in a $10 million guarantee tournament? Not quite. The World Championship of Online Poker $5,000 + $200 buy-in Main Event, played on PokerStars, attracted 2,443 players and the prize pool landed at $12,215,000. Last year Yevgeniy "Jovial Gent" Timoshenko won the Main Event along with the $1,715,200 first prize, beating the field of 2,144. This year there are no more than half a million dollars more to the winner.

The WCOOP Main Event is a multi-day event. This morning there were 271 players remaining in the tournament on 31 tables. Play stopped to give the players a 10.5-hour break and asked that they return at 17:00 ET on Monday. They will begin play in Level 23, with blinds at 2,500/5,000 and a 625 ante.
