The fourth stop of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) in Punta del Este, Uruguay kicked off on Tuesday night with 326 players from Brazil, Argentina, Peru and other Latin American countries. The LAPT is hosted by PokerStars and at this stop it added some new members to its team.

At the event the final table from the Mexico stop was finalized after a long wait. The final table from the LAPT Mexico was battled by the following players:

  • The poker elite gathered at this event including American poker professional Greg Raymer. The LAPT Mexico final table was taken down by Rory Cox from the US who took $15,000 for his efforts. Brazilian professional poker player María Mayrinck and argentinian player Leonardo Fernández both joined the Team PokerStars Pro after this tournament.
