In his fresh blog entry, Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro talks about his plans for WSOP Europe and PokerStars EPT London, and also the 25k HU WCOOP event earlier this week.
It was a tournament to Sami's liking, as he says the field was really soft for a tournament of that size. His first round opponent was Aaron "aejones" Jones, but besides aejones and durrrr there were just a few other good players that Sami knew.
After beating aejones Sami drew an opponent he didn't know. "I don't know if he knows how to shortstack or something, but it looked like he didn't have much clue how to play deep hu. I got him down to 7k (40k beginning) pretty fast, then we took a flip 44 v JTo which I lost. I don't think I won any pots after that," Sami writes. His frustration finally ended when he had top pair queen kicker on a board of 782 A 6 with three hearts, and his opponent actually tanked before calling with T9o.
"I don't think there is anyway he can ever fold that, of course he was actually thinking about the call but it just felt like such a slowroll. I was so tilted and mad after that. One of the worst moments ever. Like a tournament made for me and it ends like that," Sami says.
