Another fish from Finland has arrived! Though you can hardly call this one a fish... "LarsLuzak", the Finnish high stakes player is the newest blogger on Coinflip.com. His first entry is already up in the Blogs section, you can check it out here.
LarsLuzak arrived in the online poker scene a couple of years ago. Rumours about a very tough new player soon started circulating in the forums, and it was eventually revealed that the man behind the nick name was Sami Kelopuro, now 21, from Helsinki, Finland.
Sami is very highly regarded among his peers, for instance Ziigmund has stated that LarsLuzak is the best NL hold'em heads up specialist in the world. His results back Ilari's opinion, as he has to this date (March 11th) won more than $2.3 million in the NL hold'em high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker.
Sami is also one of the very few players - along with Ziigmund, Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey and Tom "durrrr" Dwan - who are always willing to take on any opponent.
'll be writing about the games online, I'll try to pick up and post the most interesting hands and write some comments on them," Sami says in his first entry. He is also planning on making some videos of his high stakes games.
