For a minute railbirds were afraid that Isildur1 was gone and with him the most exciting online games ever, but the Swede bounced back with one of the most extraordinary runs in online poker history. In a spell from Sunday to Monday he started with a minimum buy-in at a single $50/100 PLO table - and finished with almost $2.7 million spread out at 4 tables of $500/$1,000 PLO. His total profit was almost 3 million dollars in 24 hours.
On its' way the Isildur1 juggernaut crushed Tom "durrrr" Dwan (-$562k), Brian Townsend (-$939k) and finally Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies (-$1.45m). Isildur1 played more than 7,200 hands for a total profit of $2.98 million. The graphic (courtesy of Highstakesdb.com) shows Isildur1's proft before his match vs Ziigmund.
At first glance it looks like durrrr is crushing Isildur1's hand, but in fact he's just a 55% favorite when the money goes in (pot 399k). Video.
The match vs. Brian Townsend started at 100/200, then moved to 200/400 and finally to 300/600. The problem was that Full Tilt Poker does not offer HU tables at this level, and not all players take it too kindly when 6-max tables are reserved for HU:
Brian Townsend: HU
Isildur1: hu pls
Brian Townsend: rafi can we please have HU
Brian Townsend: thank you rafi
howisitfeellike: brain isil
howisitfeellike: u guys pushing it bit too mcuh
howisitfeellike: evryday some else decides they wana play hu
howisitfeellike: there are hu tables
Brian Townsend: not at 3/6 tho
howisitfeellike: shouldnt be my prblem
howisitfeellike: it is quite annoying
Brian Townsend: true, but if both ask I think its nice to respect it
howisitfeellike: just to let u know brian u get extra repect from me
howisitfeellike: but some lines are crossed
howisitfeellike: just to let u know guys
howisitfeellike: if its up to me this is the last time
Others, however, behave like gentlemen:
Patrik Antonius: just hu?
Brian Townsend: HU please
Patrik Antonius: np
Patrik Antonius: gl both
