If you remember, the durrrr Challenge match between Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius is still going on nearly a year since it started. On Friday the two played another short session of 622 hands that ended in a modest win of $25,000 for durrrr. In total 31,192 hands have been played, little more than 60% of the required 50k hands, and durrrr has the lead by $1,077,932.
There have been 50 sessions in all and the players have spent 4 days, 5 hours and 34 minutes at the tables. The graph below shows that in the early going it was very even, but since then the swings have gotten deeper.
There's still a long way to go to, and playing 4 tables of 200/400 a million dollar lead can disappear very quickly.
To freshen your memory, if durrrr wins after 50k hands he gets $500,000, but if he loses, he has to pay his opponent $1.5 million. The players must be multitabling 4 tables of 200/400 PLO.
