The challenge match between Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Patrik Antonius started about 3 weeks ago, but the match has progressed very slowly so far. The players have raked in just 4,178 hands, less than 10% of the required 50k hands.

"We haven't played that much so far," Dwan told PokerListings.com. "There have been a lot of bigger stakes games which we both were interested in, so those take a little bit of precedence. Plus our schedules have been a little different."

"We start playing four tables of $200/$400 and then five random names show up at $500/$1000 at four tables so we're obviously going to go to those," Dwan explains.

Apart from juicier games at $500/$1,000, scheduling has proved difficult because Dwan and Antonius are in different time zones.

Dwan has the lead in the match after those 4k hands, but he says it's still too early to make any predictions.

"We just haven't played enough hands to tell. And there hasn't been anything that interesting yet," Dwan says to Pokerlistings.com.
