Ongoing rumors are placing the Victory Poker site in the hands of the Cereus Network. Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman however denies that an agreement has been reached.

Ongoing rumors have in the past week been circulating around a potential move by the Victory Poker room, seeing the heavily promoted site move from the Cake Network to Cereus.

The Cereus Network today hosts UB Poker and Absolute Poker, and could be looking towards an ambitious expansion with the inclusion of Victory Poker, home of among other Andrew "good2cu" Robl and Antonio Esfandiari.

So far, no confirmation on the deal has reached the public, and Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman today denied that an agreement has been made between the parts, although he did admit that a move would be potentially beneficial for Victory.

"I would be excited to join a network that hosts the third largest site in the U.S. and has very few partners to focus on. It would be great for everyone involved," Fleyshman told PokerNewsDaily.com.

Victory Poker, which currently resides on the Cake Network, could be the second poker room to leave Cake in the past few months.

One of the most popular rooms on the network, DoylesRoom, in January left Cake for the Yatahay Poker Network, led by True Poker.

The decision marked a new low for the troubled Cake Poker Network, which also had to see Card Room manager Lee Jones and Tournament Director Serge Ravitch resign from the Cake Poker room in late December.
