Viktor "Isildur1" Blom has made his official debut as a PokerStars blogger, more than a year after he signed his first pro contract with the company. His first blog describes his recent win at the PCA $100k Super High Roller in the Bahamas.

Viktor "Isildur1" Blom has published a new blog post on the PokerStars Blog, effectively giving the young Swede his debut as pro blogger with the world's biggest poker site.

Blom has been known to be notoriously secretive and media shy earlier in his career, but his debut PokerStars post is remarkably openhearted and gives a rare insight into the mind of the popular star.

More specifically, Blom uses the occasion to discuss his recent win at the PCA $100,000 Super High Roller, which awarded him a $1.2 million first prize and the first major live result of his career.

Blom won the event in front of 30 of the world's best pros, eventually beating Dan Shak heads-up for the victory and the PokerStars trophy.

Blom said to be feeling comfortable with his performance in the tournament, despite having had flight problems and little sleep in the days leading up to the event.

"I ran really well in this tournament. I tried to pick my spots more in this one that I had in the past. I was lucky to win the big all in pots," Blom writes.

"The end of Day 2 felt good for me, because we were playing short-handed, which I am more comfortable with. This allowed me to play my game a bit more, and as the money approached, I was very comfortable," he adds.

The post also discusses Blom's trademark aggressive style of play in some key spots, and how he had to save the celebrations for later although it was his biggest live score to date.

"I was so happy won, but I was so tired, and I had a feeling like I was ill. My whole body was aching," Blom writes.

"I was so tired, during that [winner's] interview. I don't even remember half the questions. I went back to my room and slept. I saved the celebration for later in the week. When I woke up the next day, I started to feel really good, and the win started to sink in. The win feels great."

"I hope it isn't my last."

Before taking down the High Roller event and the $1,254,400 first prize, Blom had only made a single live cash in the 2010 WSOPE Main Event in London, where finished in 16th place for $51,806.

More recently, he has also added another cash to his resume at the EPT Deauville this weekend.

Here he finished second in the Heads-Up side event for $17,623, bringing his lifetime live cashes to a total of $1,323,829, so far.
