PowerPokers’ exclusive Power World Cup final took place on the 21st of August 2010 aboard a yacht offshore Helsinki, Finland. The 6 finalists included players from Finland, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany and Slovenia, along with Pro player Ziigmund representing PowerPoker.
The 5 PWC package winners arrived in Helsinki on Friday to enjoy a day of chilling out at a 5 star spa hotel. On Saturday morning, the participants were picked up by a chauffeur and driven to Helsinki centre for an afternoon of hanging out in the city.
Later on, they were driven back to the hotel and picked up by a powerful rib craft speedboat, which cruised them to ‘The Gerda’; a Finnish ship were the players met Ziigmund and the final table was played. Finnish player Miikka ‘DartMaster’ Makkonen took down Ziigmund and emerged to win $1,300 for 1st place and $500 bounty on Ziigmund. German player Kerim ‘_KingOfSwing’ Ekal followed in 2nd place, taking home $700.
