The World Series of Poker has unveiled the design of the 2012 edition of the coveted winners bracelets. The bracelets will this year be crafted by famed Beverly Hills jewelry designer Jason Arasheben.
The WSOP has unveiled the design of this year's golden bracelets, the series direction has announced on the official WSOP website.
The 2012 edition of the most coveted trophy in poker will be crafted by famed Beverly Hills jewelry designer Jason Arasheben, also known as Jason of Beverly Hills.
The in-demand jewelry designer has formerly worked with both sports stars and celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Kate Perry, Rihanna and P Diddy.
He is also behind the design of two world championship rings for the Los Angeles Lakers, among many others projects in recent years.
It will, however, be the first time the designer works to produce a poker trophy.
"We are honored to have the opportunity to create this masterpiece for the World Series of Poker and it will go down as the most expensive piece of championship jewelry across all major sports," Jason of Beverly Hills said in a press release.
The exclusive bracelet will according to the WSOP be the most extravagant in the series' history, promising for a true trophy of excellence for this summers' winners, Executive Director Ty Stewart said.
"Blinger is better. Jason grasped the heritage of WSOP bracelets, but was only interested if he could take it up several notches. This is a trophy that truly embodies the promise of today’s WSOP – seemingly unthinkable dreams are dealt each year. I challenge anyone to keep a poker face when they see this bracelet in person."
The WSOP Main Event bracelet will be especially lavish and will feature a collection of the finest quality, hand-picked round cut diamonds.
The four card suits featured on the bracelet will feature rubies and black diamonds, spread across 160 grams of 14 karat gold and counting over 35 carats of flawless diamonds altogether.
