Finally it's here: the heads up match between Tom Dwan and Ilari Sahamies in the durrrr Million Dollar Challenge on Sky Sports. No spoilers in the comments!


It's a rare opportunity to see live heads up PLO between two true monsters of the game. Ilari comments on the match here on Coinflip.com, but doesn't give out any spoilers.

"I was really focused and feeling good at the start of the match," Ilari says to Coinflip.com but adds that his concentration didn't stay top level throughout.

"At some point I slipped a little bit. You can't help tilting a little after a beat. But all in all I'm happy with my game."

"We played from 300/600 to 3k/9k depending on how steamed up we were," Ilari jokes. "The match took place at some private club, a very nice place," he describes the venue, Les Ambassadeurs Club in London.

"The match took 12 hours and I came to the table well rested. Afterwards it didn't go so well though. When I left the table, I went straight online and lost one million to Isildur1," Ilari says of the match played last November.

"durrrr is just as difficult to play live compared to online. It depends a little on my mood, but I would say that he's somewhat better than me in live poker. Though I'm very good live, too, when I'm in the right mood. But he's very, very tough to play live," Ilari says to Coinflip.com.
