Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies has had some major swings in the last few days on Full Tilt Poker, and Thursday was no exception. After winning almost $400k earlier, he lost it all and then some, ending up $745k down in a 32 hour spell from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday midnight. Most of it went - again - to the CardRunners pro Cole South.
Despite losing so heavily, Ilari took the biggest pot of the day ($291k) when both players hit the flop very hard. Even though Ilari has the nuts on the flop, South has lots of outs and is a 65% favorite when the money goes in. Video here.
Top 3 Wednesday through Thursday:
Cole South +600k
Patrik Antonius +314k
David Oppenheim +199k
Ziigmund -745k
durrrr -403k
OnTheRize -134k
February has not treated Ziigmund so kindly, as he is now down by $809k for the month - but still up by $294k in 2010. Biggest winner of the year is Cole South with a very nice $2.5 million.
