Did you play much poker when you came to London? I know that lots of the live games are super soft (£1,£1), (£1,2) and (£1, £3). Not to sure about higher stakes since I never played them. Full of people who simply are payoff wizards :P and like to gamble with the worst of it :D

Can't say I have ever been to Clapham Junction, I mostly stick around west and central London since thats where everything is :)

in Feb i play the UK-ipt in Nottingham with some friend of mine. One of them finished 2. in the Turbotakedown in Decemeber :P
